Element types plugins offer a straightforward installation process.
On this page, you will learn on how to download and install the element type you'd like to use in your form.
Downloading Element Type
The first thing you need to do is download the latest build of Element type plugins. You can find it in Formea's element lists landing page.
Available Elements
To initiate the download of the element type, click on the download button. Element types are categorized as Free and Paid. If you possess an active subscription for the element types or Formea Pro, kindly log in to access the download.
The downloaded file will be in the format .zip. Example: Formea_element_xxxx_1.0.0.zip
Install via dashboard
To install element type via the dashboard:
- Login to your Joomla! Administrator
- Go to Formea Form Builder » Dashboard
- Under the section "Installed Formea Plugins", locate the "Install Formea Plugins" at the bottom
- Click on "Browse" and upload the downloaded Element type (.zip file)
Install via element type view
To install element type via the element view:
- Login to your Joomla! Administrator
- Go to Formea Form Builder » Element Types
- Click on the "New Element Type" button at the top
- A pop-up for file uploading will appear
- Click on "Browse" and upload the downloaded Element type (.zip file)
